Can we all please take a moment to appreciate Hagrid here? Seriously, everyone always talks about how Harry has no father figure and how terrible it was for Sirius to die because now Harry’s all alone (dont get me wrong, Sirius is my favorite character) but honestly, Hagrid is the best father Harry ever had. He did so much for him, and no one, sometimes not even Harry realizes that. Hagrid gets no where near the mount of credit he deserves. Take a minute and try to imagine where Harry would be with out him and you’ll understand what im talking about.

I guess you were waiting for us….
RIP to one of the greatest, bravest, strongest men I’ve ever known. Poppa, I will always love you and I will miss you so much. I’m so glad that I got to see you, even if it was for about 12 hours. You’re the second grandparent I’ve had to see lying in a hospital bed at home. Let me tell you, it doesn’t get any easier the second time around. I’m glad that you stayed until we got here. And I glad I got to hear you tell me that you love me last night. Now I have both my grandfathers to make proud. I love you and I’ll never forget you Poppa.
